Sometimes the hardest things to say are also the most important. It doesn't matter how much it scares you to do so, it's finally time to be honest.

01. I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE
Unfortunately, you can't keep lying to your partner/friend/family anymore. You just don't feel the same for them anymore.
02. I WOULD KILL YOU
The person who means so much to you has done something completely unforgivable and now it's time to make sure they know where they stand. You would kill them if you ever got the chance.
03. I LOVE YOU, BUT...
A bittersweet love confession. You know you love this person more than anything, but you're not sure you can give them what they need.
04. I DON'T TRUST YOU
No matter how you feel about this person, you really can't trust them anymore.
05. SACRIFICE
You're going to sacrifice yourself, for the person you're talking with or for the good of all humanity. You want them to know the reasons and that there's no stopping you.

You're in trouble and you might not make it through. You need to let at least one person know how you feel before it's too late though.

[ man, he really has missed a lot. suddenly he's got a few days off and he's having actual arguments, sleeping more than he has in weeks and fiduspawn is in another fucking galaxy.

[ Dude you missed it all. ] And, the green-blood and the blue-blood he was travelling with, are, now running their own battle arenas and, breeding centres, respectively. There's a lot of debate on, who the new companions will be, actually.

[ slowly takes another sip of his juice and leans against the back of the couch....... debating whether or not he wants to waste away in front of the tv catching up on fiduspawn while tavros is at work. but then and only then because 1) he has nothing better to do, 2) it's not like he cares or anything, geez. ]

Jesus, this shit moves faster than a daytime soap opera. Last time I even gave it a peek it was the beginning of that asshole circus party and they were going to capture that hissing noodle-looking thing or whatever.

That was almost, a year ago. [ Just embrace your inner nerd, Dave. ] A lot has changed, but, the protagonist hasn't, all that much.

He's not a tool! He's, a strong leading character. [ Tavros you're in your twenties you're not allowed to still idolize ten year olds. ]

I have, an unfair advantage. Which is why I would probably, be disqualified from an actual tournament, due to my, uh, powers. It would be cheating.

[ and there goes the rest of his juice. now he's going to have to get off his ass and buy more at some point, wahhh. life is hard, etc etc. ]

I don't like to, think about it in those terms. Because, if done right, no one gets all that hurt. [ also way to word choice man, Tavros is just chewing on his spoon and looking straight ahead at the tv and not back at you at all. ]

[ ... yeah he's moving around to sit next to him on the couch—with a fair amount of space between the two of them, of course. ]

[ Sorry this is awkward. ] I wonder if he'll win.

He always wins.

[ yeah, he sort of feels like they're at some weird restart point or something. just meeting again for the first time in years. he's not really sure what to do with himself. ]

Not always. He didn't win, the league, after all. And he's not used to fighting monsters like this.

So he'll improvise and right when it looks like he's fucked he'll pull through and we can all put our hands up in shock and amazement.

It's inspiring, that he can be so creative. Especially if he's controlling an, uh, electric type as they can be, very volatile.

[ you're creative. he folds his arms behind his head and shuts his eyes. ]

[ Now he's just going to be totally engrossed in the outcome of the battle, tapping the spoon against his fangs. Sorry Dave, fiduspawn comes before all else. ]

[ it's cool, he still knows this much about tavros' habits. his eyes stay closed, but he half-listens to the show and half picks his brain for some good memories, like when he stopped thinking this was stupid and started thinking it was stupidly cute, and things like that.

idle time is downright poisonous for a strider. ]

[ Gosh you hidden softie.

But the show ends, the hero wins (a big surprise, Tavros still claps like a ninny at the victory) and by the end of it he's ready to start gearing up for work. It's a bit of a trip and it's better to be there early than late. ]

[ Dave doesn't stick around to help out, not that he assumes Tavros needs (or wants) it—shower time. finally. that and a shave and changing into something that isn't his PJs and maybe actually picking his shit up off the floor. before all that though, he leaves a note for Tavros on the inside of the front door to find before he leaves.
